Fields of Lupin
May is fast approaching, and with her arrival, flowers.
Stopped along Freshwater Beach on my way home this afternoon, pulled the camera and walked into this field of glorious purple lupin with one white accent point ~ After taking numerous pictures, landscape, portrait, looking down, looking up I finally just laid down to absorb the floral fragrance.
The Long Way Home…
Heading into town to pick up my boy from school with time on my hands. The sun burst forth after what seems to be weeks of rain and grey skies. Who could not pull over a few times, just to absorb the beauty of the north coast? I cruised to the Trinidad Lighthouse, just to watch the boats rocking in bay, listen to the fare off bell. A flash of color caught my eye, and I swung the camera around, searching the trees. A fine day indeed.
