Today we headed up into Redwood National Park, 7 of us who wanted to play with our cameras and see what sort of magic we could discover in the world. We began at Freshwater Lagoon where osprey regaled us with their hunting, a short jaunt brought us to the flowering lupins near the visitor’s center, heavy mist sitting on the petals. Then we began the drive up Bald Hills – no flowering lupins like we’d dreamt about. But we discovered columbine, small orchids, buttercups and dandelions.

Fabulous detail. Love it.
