A young Great Heron took flight above Redwood Creek this afternoon.
Stopped by Natural Bridges State Park (Santa Cruz) late one afternoon, and the air was filled with flashes of flying sunshine. Monarch Butterflies stay in this small State Park for the winter. A must see for anyone passing through! Here’s a short video clip too!

I have returned to ‘Life on the Klamath’ ~ after a year’s hiatus, I am returning to work on removal of the Klamath Dams.
