Return Migration….
The hummingbirds have descended in the last week ~ each day there are a couple more, and our poor old dog cowers on the porch while they flit, buzz, chatter and engage in aerial duels.
Sunday Perfection….
The elusive Kestral – I regularly see this bird somewhere’s along Stone Lagoon, but generally the moment I pull the camera up the bird hightails it fast and low to the ground. Today however the bird left it’s perch, swooped and landed on another just a few feet away. And it was the swoop I was rewarded with. I need to work on my pan/shoot as this is a little fuzzy but dang if I am not pretty pleased on this perfect Sunday…
